In and effort to continue to provide an emergency service in Klamath Falls, some local veterinarians, including us, have partnered with MyPetDoc. As our clients, you will have free access to licensed veterinarians after hours when our office is closed. You can chat with a veterinarian, who will answer questions, look at photos, provide guidance, and help you decide if or when your pet may need to be seen by a veterinarian. There are a few limitations, because these veterinarians have not physically examined your pets they cannot diagnose, prescribe or refill medications. They will be able to give you their best guidance on what you can do from home or put you in contact with the closest emergency veterinarian.
Unfortunately, there are too few local veterinarians available to provide consistent local and immediate emergency care every evening. If your pet has a life threatening emergency, it is possible that the closest available veterinarian may be the Southern Oregon Veterinary Specialty Center.
